Newsletter Committee

 

The Newsletter Committee is tasked with overseeing the Association's publications, with a primary focus on publishing and editing the Association's newsletter. Additionally, the committee is responsible for managing material developed by the Association or its members for presentation in other organizations' publications. The subcommittee, operating under the umbrella of the Newsletter Committee, performs vital functions such as requesting articles, editing articles and following up with authors on changes, proofreading the newsletter, arranging peer reviews for substantive features and articles, preparing and submitting budgets, collecting photos and bios from authors, coordinating with the Communications Committee for article and newsletter reviews, soliciting advertising, expressing gratitude to authors, and providing reports to the Communications Committee. The committee and its subcommittee play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and timely dissemination of information through the Association's publications.
